The Berkel Model O Scale has been restored in black.
This model was used in post offices and is distinctive for its graduated dial which calculates the price of the item by cross-referencing it with the data indicated by the needle; note how the quantities are framed in little boxes on the dial, a detail that epitomises the sophisticated design of this piece. Thanks to the side lever it is possible to weigh items of up to 1 kg;
the minimum interval is 5 grams.
This scale was manufactured in Berkel’s Dutch factory in 1964.
