This restored Berkel Model LP scale has the characteristic fan shape with visible screws;
It can weigh up to 3.2 kg with the help of counterweights placed on a bar to the side. In later models this was replaced by a round knob. Minimum interval: 1 gram;
The piece on display dates to 1959 and was manufactured in Berkel’s Dutch factory.
